How we choose
Eye Bag Patches compares under eye patches for bags, puffiness and dark circles for women and men. Here's exactly how we put our comparisons together — and how we make money.
What we look at
- Actives. Which ingredients are in the formula — caffeine, PDRN, copper peptide, collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide — and whether they match the concern the product is sold for.
- Formula focus. Is the patch built for de-puffing, hydration, a firmer-looking under-eye, or a brighter-looking tone — or a combination?
- Texture and wear. Hydrogel, biocellulose or sheet; how well it grips; how long it's designed to be worn.
- Availability. Whether the product is easy to buy from the brand or major retailers.
- Value tier. A simple $ / $$ / $$$ price tier based on typical list prices, since exact prices change constantly.
What we don't do
- We don't publish star ratings or rating schema, and we don't put the products in a numbered order. Our two review pages include a short editorial rating of formula, ease of use, feel and value: an opinion based on the product details, not a lab or clinical test.
- We don't make medical claims. Eye patches are cosmetics: they can cool, hydrate and give a visibly de-puffed look — they don't change the structure behind genetic or age-related bags.
- We don't invent product photos. Where we don't have an official image, we show a simple typographic tile instead.
- We describe every product fairly, with a genuine strength and a neutral "good to know" note.
Our favourite
Each lineup has one "Our favourite" — our own editorial choice for the product we'd reach for first. The other products are grouped by what they do best, not in any order of merit.
Sources
Product details come from brand websites and major retailer listings. Background information on eye bags comes from sources such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Cleveland Clinic and the NHS, which we link at the end of each guide.
How we make money
Advertising disclosure: Eye Bag Patches is a commercial publisher. Links on this page may be commercial links, and we earn money when you buy — including from Feel1, a brand we are commercially connected with. Our favourite is our own editorial choice; see How we choose.
We do not have affiliate relationships with the other brands listed. Links to other brands are provided for your convenience.
